The Bedfordshire Festival for Older People is due to take place tomorrow, October 30th.
Baby boomers will be making their way on buses and in car hire vehicles to the Weatherley Centre in Biggleswade for the event.
The free festival will be held between 10:00 and 14:30 GMT and will be used to highlight the services available in the area for older people.
There will also be a number of fun activities taking place throughout the day.
It has been organised by Bedfordshire County Council.
Councillor Peter Hollick, cabinet member for community services, said: “I am sure this year’s event will be just as successful and useful to our residents.
“The day is an excellent way to highlight the services that are available to older people, while also encouraging residents to enjoy themselves and have a great time.”
Events will include keep fit demonstrations, bingo and a musician.
Free refreshments and a prize draw have also been arranged by Age Concern.
