The Transport Broker Awards nominees are finally announced

The best performing coach companies in the UK have been nominated for a prestigious trophy as part of the annual Transport Broker Awards ceremony. The event is due to take place on December 13th at The Vale Hotel in North Cardiff. Now the news many a coach hire firm has been waiting for is here as the nominees have been officially announced.

This years ceremony has secured sponsorship from three big names in the transport industry including transport operator, Arriva Bus and Coach, limo distributor Krystal UK, and Limo1 a limousine manufacturer and sales company.

The nominations have been broken down into one category for regional awards, and another for nationwide awards. Many coach and bus companies have been nominated more than once in both categories so there’s no limit to the number of nominations a firm can receive. Check out the list below for a full run down of this years nominees.

As one of the UK’s largest bus operator, the 2009 Transport Broker Awards is honoured to announce that Arriva Bus and Coach Ltd is sponsoring this year’s event. The awards are due to take place on December 13th at the Vale Hotel, Cardiff, with some of the biggest names in the transport industry scheduled to attend.

The awards ceremony will bring together bus, coach and minibus companies, small and large from all over the country to celebrate the end of what has been for many, a tough year. As well as an evening of indulgence with a champagne reception on offer upon arrival, a 3 course Christmas dinner and music and dancing to follow, there will also be an awards ceremony to reward the highest achievers of the last 12 months.

There are a number of categories for nomination including regional awards and nationwide awards. There’s also a category for small businesses which operate a fleet of one or two coaches, as well as a prize for the best up and coming company, plus the prestigious, Coach Provider of The Year award.

Arriva is currently one of the biggest transport providers in the whole of Europe and employees over 44,000 employees operating services across 12 European countries. Their generous sponsorship of the Transport Broker Awards 2009 is a welcome addition to the event with their success not doubt inspiring some of the businesses attending the awards ceremony.

The Transport Broker Awards to take place in Cardiff this December

The annual Transport Broker Awards will take place in Cardiff on Sunday December 13th. The event will bring together the cream of the transport industry including coach and limousine operators to provide a well deserved treat for a year of hard work.

This year the awards are sponsored by one of the biggest and most prestigious limousine producers in Europe, Krystal UK Enterprises. Krystal coachworks create some of the best stretch Chryslers and hummers in the country and Limo Broker and Coach Broker are proud to announce their involvement in the Transport Awards 2009.

Guests will be treated to a champagne reception and a 3 course Christmas meal at the luxurious Vale Hotel in North Cardiff. The awards ceremony will follow, plus dancing and some celebratory drinks. Coach Broker have successfully negotiated a heavily reduced room rate at the 4 star Vale Hotel for those guest who wish to stay over after the awards ceremony. The hotel also offers a top class golf course and a luxury spa so guests will be guaranteed a relaxing stay at this exquisite establishment.

As well as being a celebratory event, the awards will also give transport operators and sales staff the opportunity to network and discuss business opportunities for the coming year. A range of awards will be handed out on the night with companies being nominated for their region, and also nationally. There’ll be an award for the fastest growing company, the best vehicle and best national operator amongst others.
